An Imaam or a caller to the prayer collecting a full salary in spite of not performing their duties every day

Question
Is the Imaam or caller to the prayer eligible for their full salary while they are not consistent in attending for their duties?
Answer

This is falling short of fulfilling the duties for which the agreement is in place and for which they receive their salary unless there is a valid excuse. If they do not attend to perform their duties for a reason that those in charge of them are satisfied with, then he is eligible to take his full salary. However, if the excuse is not acceptable by those in charge, then he should not take from his salary an amount equal to the duties he missed.
