Meaning of ahssaahaa regarding the beautiful Names of Allaah

Question
What is the meaning of the statement of the Messenger of Allaah ﷺ concerning the beautiful Names of Allaah,

“Any person who ahssaahaa shall enter Paradise!”
Answer

: It has been reported by Bukhaary and others, from the Prophet ﷺ that he said,

“Allaah has 99 Names, one less than a hundred.
Any person who ahssaahaa shall enter Paradise!” (7392)

As scholars have determined, the meaning of this word ahssaahaa is to collect them, know them, memorize them, know their meanings, and supplicate to Allaah using them. It is not enough to memorize them and just repeat them like a poem. What the exact 99 Names are requires further research, and as for what has been narrated from Ibn Hibbaan and Timirthy regards the exact Names, then those narrations are weak. Scholars have strived to determine the exact Names, such as Ibn Hajar in Fat-hu-l-Baary, ‘The Blessing of the Creator.’ He collected authentic texts from the book of Allaah and the Sunnah of His Prophet ﷺ which contained the Names of Allaah close to 99. Regardless of this, there is no authentic narration which mentions all 99 Names together, so a Muslim should try his best to exert much effort to search in the texts for these Names in order to obtain the great reward. If all the exact Names were known by text, then people would only use them and not others, similar to the wisdom of concealing the Night of Power and the exact hour of Friday in which supplications are accepted. To sum up, the meaning of ahssaahaa is to know them and their meanings and supplicating to Allaah through them.
